New Fabric!!

OK, OK - I know I promised pictures. But - I really wanted to take them outside. And it's been really cold. And my models are just not going for it. Yet.

But - I did just buy a massive amount of fabric for the spring line and I can't WAIT to show it off. I think you're going to love it!

It's beginning to look a lot like . . . SPRINGTIME!!

At least that's what it's looking like in the Jak&Jewel sweatshop (aka - mom's basement!)! We've just started working on our new spring line and it is looking pretty fantastic if I do say so myself! I am SO excited about our new designs and cannot wait to get my hands on some of the great new fabric coming out! AND, for all you non-moms and mom-of-boys out there - just you wait! We've got something for you this time around! Equal opportunity clothiers - that's what we're going for! Stay tuned and I'll be posting preview pictures over the next few weeks.

I'm so lame!

In my mad dash to try to get this blog up and going, it seems as though I typed in what I wished my email address was instead of what it REALLY is. So - my sincere apologies to angela@triad.rr.com, who is not me and has nothing to do with Jak&Jewel. And my sincere apologies to anyone who emailed angela@triad.rr.com and did not get what they were looking for. Oh - and order update! If you placed an order at the trunk show and haven't received it yet, keep your eye's out. You'll be getting it this week for sure! I'll email as soon as it's all stitched up and ready to go and bring it on over lickedy-split!

What's better than seeing the fall clothes hanging on a fence? Seeing them on my favorite models.

And what's even better? An awesome photographer who makes you forget you're getting pictures taken and ensures that the images reflect not only the outward appearance of your kids, but their personality! That would be Sally Gupton! (http://www.sallyguptonphotography.net/ - check her out people!)

Here's what I love about Sally:

1. She takes time before your session to talk to you about what makes you and your kids tick.

2. She takes her time. We never felt rushed at all. She has kids - she knows how they roll!

3. She has awesome ideas and locations. And she's really flexible. Again, she has kids - she knows!

4. And the best part - the pictures are beautiful! They're personal.
